Kathryn A. (Gargano) Johnson

Johnson, Kathryn A, 88 of Riverside and formerly of Narragansett passed away peacefully on Monday January 26, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones.  She was the beloved wife of the late Carl (Sea J) Johnson. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the devoted daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Hoycyk) Gargano.  She was the sister of the late Joan Guerrero.

Like many of us Kathryn lived an ordinary life, yet she was an extraordinary woman, loved by many.

She was a secretary for the Herman L G Johnson Company for many years.

She spent many summers in Narragansett where she loved sitting on the beach with friends. She also loved reading and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived daughters Linda Peck (partner Thomas Leonard) of Rumford, Tracy O’Brien (husband Robert) of Riverside, sons David and Eric (partner Kimberly Ascenio)  both of Riverside and granddaughters Heather Peck, Molly O’Brien and Amy Kollett (husband Noah) all of Riverside.

Calling hours respectfully omitted.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday February 17, 2026 at St. Brendan Church 60 Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10:00 a.m..  Burial will be private.
