Eva Almeida Obituary

Almeida, Eva A., 92 of Riverside passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020 with her children by her side.  She was the wife of the late Emile V. Perreault Jr. for 29 years, and, the second wife of the late William J. Almeida for 19 years.

Born in Barrington she was the daughter of the late Herbert S. Tilley and Alice (Jordan) Tilley. She resided in Riverside most of her life as well as wintering in Bonita Springs, Florida after retirement.

She leaves two children, her son Scott E. Perreault and daughter-in-law Donna of Rehoboth, MA, and, her daughter Joy E. Dorsey and son-in-law Harry of Barrington, RI. She leaves a brother, Irvin Tilley of Barrington, RI and was a sister to seven other siblings.

Mrs. Almeida leaves four grandsons, Paul Dorsey and wife, Erin Lucik of Texas, Jason Perreault and wife Wendy Duarte of Rhode Island, Derrick Perreault and wife Allison of Connecticut, and, Jimmy Perreault of Massachusetts. She also leaves six great grandchildren, Logan Dorsey, Madison Dorsey, Noah Perreault, Lucas Perreault, Gianna Righi and Joey Righi. She leaves many nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Almeida was a Mayflower Descendant. She graduated from East Providence High School in 1946. She was an independent woman who loved her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her. She was a person with a giving heart and was always available when needed. While living in Bonita Springs, Florida she served as the Vice President, Treasurer, and Executive Board Member of the Bonita Shores Association.

A private graveside Funeral will be held at the Princes Hill Burial Grounds in Barrington.
