Richard Drew

Drew, Richard 87, of Riverside, RI died September 12, 2019. He was the son of the late Charles and Phyllis Drew of Riverside and beloved husband of the late Jane (Cross) Drew.
He leaves his daughter, Jayne Anderson, and her husband George, of Barrington, two cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley Anderson and his loving kitty cat, Tigger. He also leaves his brother, Charles Drew of Rockland, MA, sister in law, Marjorie Brown of Barton, VT, three nieces and one nephew.
  Richard was a proud veteran of the Korean War and served from 1952 to 1954. He was formerly employed as an assistant manager for McCusker’s Candy stand at Crescent Park for 15 years. Richard was retired from Raytheon in 1992 after a 25 year career as a Manufacturing Engineer. He was a cabinetmaker and avid woodworker, and in 1960 built the house in which he lived until recently.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Saint Elizabeth Manor in Bristol, RI for your loving care, compassion and friendship during these past few months. 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 21, 2019 at 10:30am, at the Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Exeter, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations to: Saint Elizabeth Manor Activities Fund-South, 1 Dawn Hill Road, Bristol RI 02809, would be greatly appreciated.
