Nancy J. (Sonntag) Fontaine

Fontaine, Nancy J., 73, died on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at her home. Nancy resided in Riverside, RI, with her son and his family. As a young lady, she was very proud of working at the Empire State Building and playing the guitar. Later in life she became a CNA and worked many years at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital and Cardi's Nursing Home. Anyone who knew her could speak to her love of coffee! 

Nancy was a daughter of the late Marion and Phillip Mager of Cumberland, RI and sister of the late Phyllis Coffee of Virginia. She was the mother of Pamela and Michael.

She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Angela of Riverside, RI, Nieces Jennifer, Alison and Debbie of Virginia, Grandchildren, Sarah, Lily, Ava, Jacob, Emma and Natalie, and her great grandson Brian. She will be sorely missed by all.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 9:00-10:00 AM in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue, Riverside, RI 02915. Committal service will  follow with a prayer service in the Mausoleum at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1 Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919.

A family gathering will take place, following the burial, to which relatives and friends are invited to 73 Prescott Avenue, Riverside, RI 02915.
