Ververis, June E. 78 of Largo, Florida passed away October 22, 2018. She was the wife of James J. Ververis.
June was born on June 17, 1940 in Providence, RI, to Phillip G. and Dorothy (Haeseler) Judge. She was a graduate of Barrington High School and attended Rhode Island College of Education.
She was an owner of Phil Judge Florist, Barrington, where she took great joy in creating floral designs for her customers for over fifty years. June retired and moved with her husband, James, to Largo, Florida in 2011.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, sharing an abundance of loving care, hand knitted clothing, and photographs. An avid boater, June was a past member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the waters of RI and Massachusetts.
June is survived by her husband, James J. Ververis of Largo, Florida, son Mark R. Bourassa and daughter-in-law Laurie Bourassa of Bristol, RI, daughter Elizabeth D. Barker and son-in-law William A. Barker of Seekonk, MA, and granddaughters Alicia E. Marafino of Seekonk, Sarah M. Bourassa and Emma J. Bourassa of Bristol; sisters Phyllis DiTomasso of North Providence, Helen Judge of Barrington, and the late Marie Carbone of Rehoboth; brothers Phillip N. Judge of Providence, Frank Judge of Jamestown, and James Judge of Bellevue, Washington, as well as her loving nieces and nephews; her stepsons John Ververis of Florida, Nicholas Ververis of CT, and Christopher Ververis of CA, and their families.
Visiting hours will be on Sunday November 25, 2018 in the funeral home from 3-5 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 5 PM. On Monday November 26, 2018 there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 10:00 AM prior to the graveside service at 11:00 AM for June at Prince's Hill Cemetery 283 County Road, Barrington, RI 02806.
