Ernest P. Winslow

Ernest P. Winslow, 99 of East Providence, RI passed away Tuesday September 18, 2018 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island. He was the husband of the late Gladys A. (Reney) Winslow. Born in Providence, RI he was a son of the late Harold E. and Bertha (Polk) Winslow.

Ernest worked as a salesman for Sears Roebuck for many years before retiring. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of the WWII. Ernest was a communicant of Haven United Methodist Church of East Providence. He enjoyed gardening, up keeping his home and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan.

He leaves two sons, Douglas Winslow of New Hampshire and Robert Winslow of Florida, one daughter, Janet Wilcox of MA, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday September 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Rumford Cemetery, Greenwood Avenue, East Providence, RI.
